Let's talk skin!
It's been a while since I've said anything about skin care. I get so many questions about skin care, but I'm not sure how to always answer them since I don't do much for my skin besides keeping myself super moisturised to keep it clear. Recently, however, I've come across multiple skin care products and want to share what I think.
Garnier Hydra Bomb Tissue Mask
Probably your best tissue mask option easily available in Pakistan. It's not just refreshing for the face but instantly soothes my skin. I find the application of tissue masks sticky, and inconvenient sometimes so it's not easy to be regular (at least not for me lol) but the immediate results are satisfying. I mean,I wore it at night and the next morning, my skin appeared fresh. However, I'd like to point out that long term results can only be seen by regular and consistent use. I've used the mask only a couple of times but I have a good feeling about them so far, so I shall try to be more regular. If you've tried them as well, let me know what you think!
Sephora Rose Invisilk Mask
JUST using this mask is SO much fun. lol. It smells beautiful, it feels beautiful INSTANTLY SOOOO refreshing once you take it off. Its a SPLASH of moisture and refreshness on your face. QUICKLY makes you feel like your skin feels happy. I'm not sure what long term use results are but so far, so good. Definitely something I wanna keep investing in. HOWEVER, unfortunately, it's not available in Pakistan since its Sephora so you gotta wait on one of your mamoos, or chachoos to come home from walait! (The above mentioned mask is a great alternative though!)
Orgacare Shea Butter
Probably the best out of all the products I mentioned for several reasons. Orgacare Shea Butter is absolutely pure, comes all the way from Africa and this is the first time Shea butter is so easily available in Pakistan. I found it lying around at Shaheen, Islamabad and was SUPER excited to find Shea Butter here. This is a better regime than using masks because A. It's easier. Just apply every night/morning. No rinse off, no wait. B. Long term and longer lasting results and C. Multiple uses! It keeps your skin super hydrated all day, so it's specially great for a SCALY dry skin like mine. If I wear it at night, my skin is much more fresh and remains moisturized. Surprisingly, make up results were also better when used on top. It tones your skin colour, moisturizes it, REVITALIZES it and gives great results over time. I don't have acne but it definitely got rid of a pimple or two whenever I got them and it has anti-oxidants that are anti-aging agents thus keeping your face fresh, and reduces spotty. aging signs. It doesn't smell all that great, and you may not like the texture but results are worth it - JUST remember to be regular, and PATIENT :D
