Congratulations on another fulfilling month of Ramzan. I hope you all come out of it feeling accomplished! The end of Ramzan means Eid, and that is SUPER exciting because I find Eid soo festive with the mehndi, and the chooriyan, and the clothes, and family etc! This time around we did some real prep for Eid as well and I though I'd share it on the blog :D
First things first, eid clothes! I really wanted to avoid the hassle of going and buying Eid clothes so I ended up buying the clothes online. The truth is, if I waited around to go and get something, it would never happen. I think the only reason I'm so prepared this time around IS because I managed some things online lol. Here's a look into what I got.
This prettyy pretty coloured dress from Gulaal. This is the first time I'm going with sometthing with a silver tinge. It's usually gold/bronze for me. I bought these khussas from Khussa center because I want to do flats on the first day. Theres a dinner at our house and I'll probably be on the go - just running around! lol. The statement silver necklace with flowers is from Accessorize. I never like to go long with my earrings, because that's just not me and I don't think they suit me. Only VERY occasionally I put on something dangling. So I got these white pearly tops from Zaheen Kamran. I thought they were JUST perfect for my look. :D
I got all this stuff way early and it's been waiting around for Eid to come. However, I didn't do anything for the second and third day of Eid until I realized that I have one black outfit from Jalips lying in my cupboard that I had been saving to wear at some point. WELL, that point is now here. I was so happy to realize I had something for the next day. AND THEN a couple of days ago, we went eid shopping for my niece who just landed from America and while we were helping her do that, my SIL bought me another fancy top from Beech Tree and i was INTSANTLY fixed for day three. :D
Logo shoes also sent me these really cute and fancy slippers as a Eid Gift. I plan to wear them with one of my outfits too!
For Muzamil, we got shalwar kameez stitched from Wazir Tailors. We bought Pashas white kapra for the shalwar kameez from there as well. To go with the outfit, we also got a dark blue waskit stitched for him, and brown moccasins from Service. His Eid outfit is complete and it's safe to say, we're ready for Eid. Now, I just can't wait to find out if Chaand raat is tonight because that means bangle shopping and mehndi. Let the fun times roll! :D
At the end I just want to say that I hope you have a blessed, fun, festive and great Eid. May you eat lots of yummy food, celebrate with your relatives and forget all your problems! Happy shopping, chaand raat and of course EID blog family. I LOVE YOU!
